This is the webpage from the ORIGINAL CIRCUS Ring!

"The ORIGINAL CIRCUS Ring!" The Ring is an inter-connected list of sites related to Circus Arts. Each site displays a navigation code, Inserted By the Owner of the Site.
" This is for sites that deal with circus arts, whether it's for individual shows, performers, news & events, history, etc."

Why does the ORIGINAL CIRCUS Ring have the name ORIGINAL?
The Circus Ring was originally hosted on the Webring.com(tm) server, with the caption
This is a ring for anything about circuses. The big tent, circus, big top, barnum and baily....Circus performers and producers alike,
and the (then) RingMaster (Calvero)didn't like the way that Webring.com(tm) dealt with frames - They don't like frames at all! She thought that the Circus Ring would be all right in RingSurf - and it was until March 31, 2008!

The RingSurf server changed over to a "Viewer" system -
the "Viewer" goes permanently on the first lines of the Users Page but doesn't like "frames busting code" and the URL from the first page is not contained in the same page as the Site-Code usually!
Webring.com(tm) doesn't like Frames, and isn't allocating rings to the customers anyway!

The ORIGINAL tag refers to the sites that have registered from the start, and we hope than all members will join this WebRingo Ring!

Come back to here and then consider if your Website belongs in the CIRCUS Ring!

Feel free to navigate around the Web Sites.
Your page/site must be related to Circus in some way. It doesn't have to be totally dedicated to the Circus, but at least have some sort of Circus, or Circus related, material on it.

NO hate, porn, sex, or anti-circus material allowed. This is a family related ring.

Do not copy someone else's site without permission.

After you submit your site, you MUST put the html Ring Code and Icon on your site. Your site will not be added to the ring until this is done. You can get the HTML Ring Code in the email that is sent out to you after you submit your site. The Icon is incoporated in the site code, you have to do nothing!
The HTML Ring Code should go on the sites registered page -

If the registered Page is not the Home Page, the first page SEEN, will be the page with the HTML Ring Code!
IF your page has FRAMES, POSSIBLY it will not correctly display the page!
You should insert the block, under the under the "HTML Ring Code", over the <CENTER> saying
<A HREF="+++ your home page+++">Home Page</A>

"html Ring Code" is sometimes referred to as "Navigation Panel", abbreviated "NavPanel".

The graphics for the webring (tent, animated clown, and elephant) were designed by a non-member of the original Ring, Barbara.

What is a Web Ring?

"A web ring is a community of websites linked one to another to form a virtual ring. Each site links to the next, so that as visitors click to go from one site to another they will eventually return to the site from which they started. Generally, the sites are linked by a common theme or interest making surfing the webring an ideal way of finding sites of interest to the web surfer.

" Web rings use links like 'Next', 'Previous' and 'Random' that enable navigation from site to site around the ring. Sometimes 'Skip' or 'Next 5' functions are included to let visitors 'hop over' a member site that might be offline.
Most web ring systems provide a listing or a directory of all the sites within a ring, which is known as the hub or list page. Such directories frequently include a description of each site, and a link to let the visitors quickly go to a particular site within the ring.

"What makes the ring function, is the 'navigation panel' (navpanel for short)! This is the panel that includes all the above links (Next, List, Random, Previous, Home, Join, and...), and is placed on each member site. "
